About Curved Bone Scrapers
Curved bone scrapers are manual bone-collection instruments with a cutting head and collecting area. These curved manual scrapers are a separate product type from rotary bone-collector drills and from the syringes used to deliver graft material.
Selecting the right configuration
Specify the curved head profile, overall length, blade width and collection-chamber design. For replacement planning, ask whether the cutting blade is replaceable and identify its part number and intended reuse status. Similar handle shapes do not demonstrate that blades from another supplier fit.
Measurements and evidence
Medesy documents a 150 mm curved scraper and a 155 mm straight scraper, with its own replacement blade references. Those lengths describe Medesy products, not the scraper we quote. The quotation for our curved scraper pattern should include an actual overall-length drawing and any documented chamber capacity rather than an assumed volume.
Care and documentation
Before clinical use, obtain the exact supplied scraper’s instructions, including blade handling and processing requirements. During sample review, inspect the cutting head and access to the collecting area. Do not infer a reusable blade, a sterilization cycle or a permitted number of uses from the metal appearance or from a competing model’s page.
