Oval Spoon Dental Excavators

We manufacture double-ended oval spoon dental excavators for removing soft carious dentine while preserving sound tooth structure. Tell us the exact figure and SKU you need, since several figure numbers repeat across our range and length alone will not identify the pattern.

How to Choose Endodontic Instruments

Choose by Stage of the Endodontic Workflow

A broad endodontic instrument request can refer to several different product families. Hand files and reamers belong to canal negotiation and shaping. Spreaders and pluggers belong to obturation. Explorers and excavators support access and hand instrumentation. Rubber-dam instruments support isolation. Start with the task, then compare the exact instrument type and specification.

Product names should remain specific. A K-file, Hedstrom H-file, and K-reamer may share a numbered size and length but differ in construction and motion. A restorative plugger is not automatically an endodontic plugger. A rubber-dam clamp number is not a verified tooth indication unless the exact product documentation supports it.

  • Files and reamersRecord exact type, size, length, taper where verified, assortment, sterile status, pack, and quantity.
  • Spreaders and pluggersCompare tip diameter, taper, working length, end configuration, and handle.
  • Access instrumentsUse the pattern, figure, working-end profile, and intended instrument family.
  • Rubber-dam instrumentsList punches, forceps, frames, clamps, and kit contents as separate product requirements.

K-Files, H-Files, and K-Reamers Need Separate Specifications

A buyer comparing hand files should see verified sizes, lengths, taper, cross-section or flute information where documented, handle/color coding, assortment, sterile status, and package quantity. Color alone cannot establish conformity, taper, or size. The product specification and evidence must do that work.

K-files, H-files, and K-reamers should remain distinct products or clear variations. Similar dimensions do not make their working design interchangeable. Schools and distributors should use the full type plus size and length on every order line so repeat purchases do not depend on an abbreviated name.

Separate Obturation, Access, and Restorative Terminology

Spreaders and pluggers need their own tip dimensions, taper, length, handle, and end configuration. Do not reuse restorative condenser copy simply because “plugger” appears in both categories. The buyer should be able to see whether a product belongs to an endodontic obturation set or a restorative placement set.

The same discipline applies to explorers and excavators. Identify the exact pattern and working end rather than describing every fine double-ended instrument as an endodontic explorer. We confirm the buyer-facing identity and specification before quoting an uncertain match.

Rubber-Dam Instruments Form a Complete Isolation System

The rubber-dam collection includes individual instrument references and a defined isolation kit. Buyers should be able to compare the punch, clamp forceps, frame, clamps, and other listed components without assuming that every clamp number or frame material is included in every configuration.

For a kit, compare the exact bill of materials and replacement options. For an individual instrument, state the pattern, size or reference, quantity, and packaging. Reprocessing instructions depend on the actual component and material, so request the instructions for the quoted product.

What to Include in an Endodontic Supply Request

List the instrument type, pattern or reference, verified size and length, taper where applicable, assortment, sterile or non-sterile requirement, pack quantity, order quantity, branding, packaging, and destination. For a kit, attach the full component schedule. If compatibility with an existing system matters, provide the system and interface information for confirmation.

Available manufacturing, material, packaging, certificate, and export evidence can be supplied through the quotation process. Clinical selection, reuse decisions, and reprocessing follow the product instructions and professional protocols. We support product identification and procurement rather than technique instruction.

Keep size assortments and individual sizes as separate commercial options. A request for an assortment should state every included number and length, while a replenishment order should identify the exact size, pack, sterile status, and previous reference. That detail prevents a mixed pack from being substituted for an individual-size requirement.

Endodontic Instruments FAQ

How do K-files, H-files, and K-reamers differ for ordering?

They are separate hand-instrument designs. State the full type, verified size, length, taper where applicable, assortment, sterile status, and pack quantity on each order line.

Are all endodontic instruments supplied sterile?

Sterile status is product and package specific. Confirm it on the exact product or quotation rather than assuming it from the category.

Are endodontic pluggers the same as restorative pluggers?

No. The intended instrument family, working-end geometry, tip dimensions, length, and handle must be checked for the exact product.

What information is needed for a rubber-dam kit quote?

Provide the required kit or component list, clamp and frame references, quantities, material or size requirements, packaging, branding, and destination.

Need Endodontic Instruments in Bulk?

Send your instrument list and quantities for manufacturer-direct pricing, custom branding, or mixed-category quotes.
