About Endodontic Broach
The Endodontic Broach is a box of ten stainless-steel barbed broaches for pulp-tissue removal in professional endodontic work. It is intended for trained dental clinicians and for the purchasers who restock their endodontic supplies. Your request names two separate references: a length of 21 mm or 25 mm, and a size of #20, #25, #30, #35, #40, #50 or #60, or the #20–60 assortment. Both belong on the same request line.
Barbs that hold tissue
A barbed broach is identified by the small projections raised along its slender, tapered working part. The barbs engage soft pulp tissue so that the tissue comes away with the instrument. The broaches in this offer combine that barbed working part with a short, ribbed, colored finger handle that has a hole through it. The result is a compact hand instrument, not a rotary attachment. When you place your order, give the size number, because that is the identifier we use to match your request.
Where a broach fits beside files and reamers
Product listings sometimes group broaches with files, which makes the two easy to confuse on an order. K-files, H-files and reamers have flutes or cutting edges designed to shape and enlarge canal walls. A barbed broach has no shaping role. Its barbs engage tissue and are not cutting flutes, so this instrument does not replace the files in your preparation sequence. It is also not an obturation instrument such as a finger spreader or plugger, although those belong to the same broad endodontic range.
If a requisition says “endo files” but the task is pulp-tissue removal, this is the box to order. If the task is canal shaping, order files instead. Whether a broach suits a particular case is the treating clinician's decision. Our responsibility is to make sure the instrument that arrives is the one you intended.
Two fields: length and size
- Length: 21 mm or 25 mm
- Size: #20, #25, #30, #35, #40, #50, #60
- Assortment: #20–60 assortment
- Pack: 10 broaches per box
Length and size are independent fields, and every order needs both. “25 mm broaches” does not specify a size, and “#30 broaches” does not specify a length. Write both on one line, for example 21 mm and #35.
The #20–60 assortment is its own reference and takes the place of a single number in the size field. It does not carry a stated count for any one size. If your practice relies on a particular size, name that size in your request rather than counting on the assortment to supply it.
Ordering by the box
The selling unit is the box, and each box holds ten broaches, so plan replenishment in multiples of ten. When one length and size reference runs down faster than the rest of your stock, request that same pairing again in the number of boxes you need, written exactly as before. If you use both lengths, state the quantity you want of each so the request shows plainly what you need.
Material and inspection
The working instrument is stainless steel containing nickel and chromium. It is a stainless-steel hand instrument, not a nickel-titanium rotary instrument.
The barbs and slender working part of a broach can bend or break. Inspect each broach before use and withdraw any that looks damaged. Preparation, processing and disposal should follow the device's own labeling and instructions. Do not rely on another manufacturer's guidance or on assumptions drawn from the packaging.
Placing your order
To request a quotation, send SKU DIS-DEN-0221 with the length reference (21 mm or 25 mm), the size reference or #20–60 assortment, the number of boxes and your delivery destination. The quotation confirms the actual contents of the boxes for your order before you commit.
