About Luks Root Canal Plugger – Figure 1
Luks Figure 1 is a root canal plugger used within endodontic obturation instrument ranges. “Lucks” is an occasional transcription, but established product references use the spelling Luks. The instrument is a plugger, not a spreader, explorer or hand file.

Published references identify Luks 1 with a fine plugger end, including a 0.45 mm reference on an established configuration. Buyers should still confirm tip diameter, taper, working length, end count, overall length and handle against the selected drawing. A figure number does not establish every dimension across manufacturers.

For a replacement, send macro photographs of the working end beside a scale, the handle marking and the original supplier code. Keep Luks 1 separate from root canal spreaders and explorers in the set schedule even if they share a similar handle.
