About Stainless Steel Endodontic K-Reamers
We build the K-reamer with a more open, wider-pitch twisted cross-section than a K-file, cutting mainly in rotation and used for enlarging and shaping the canal rather than filing debris loose. Our current range covers length — 21 mm, 25 mm, and 31 mm — and common numbered-size assortments (#06-#10, #15-#40, and #45-#80); we also accept exact single-size schedules.
Reamer vs. File Technique
A reamer is generally worked with a rotational or watch-winding motion to enlarge the canal, while a K-file uses a push-pull filing motion. The two are not interchangeable in technique even where the nominal ISO size matches.
