About Orthodontic Ligature Directors

Tip Geometry and Combination Ends
The working tip's diameter and angle determine how precisely the instrument seats a ligature into a specific slot. Double-ended patterns put two tip options on one handle; tucker/director and director/band-pusher combinations pair a ligature director with a second working end to cover more of the ligation sequence without switching instruments. Tip diameter and slot reference belong to the exact quoted SKU — a dimension confirmed for one pattern should not be assumed to carry over to another.
Choosing a Configuration
Tell us the tip diameter (for example .018 or .020), end configuration, and handle together. A slot reference is a dimension to verify on the approved sample, not a guarantee of universal appliance compatibility. We manufacture in stainless steel; minimum order quantity, packaging, and private-label options are confirmed with your quotation based on pattern mix.
Care
The fine working tip is the part most likely to bend or lose precision with repeated use — inspect tip straightness and, for combination instruments, both working ends independently during cleaning.
