About Stainless Steel Hedstrom H-Files
We build the Hedstrom H-file with spiral-cut flutes that cut only on the pull stroke, giving more aggressive dentin removal than a K-file's twisted cross-section. Our current range covers length — 21 mm, 25 mm, and 31 mm — and common numbered-size assortments (#06-#10, #15-#40, and #45-#80); we also accept exact single-size schedules.
How H-Files Differ from K-Files
The flute geometry is the key difference: an H-file's sharp spiral cutting edge removes dentin efficiently on withdrawal but should not be rotated in the canal the way a K-file can be, since that risks fracture. Confirm technique against the file type actually supplied.
