Bone Grafting and GBR Instrument Kits

Choose by Bone Collection or Membrane Fixation Task

A bone collector or chip-maker kit and a GBR tack-fixation kit do not solve the same purchasing task. The collector product should identify the instruments used for collection and their dimensions. The fixation product should identify tacks or pins, drivers, applicators, loading or removal components, and quantities. The category can connect both to a grafting workflow without describing them as interchangeable “GBR kits.”

Graft materials, membranes, biologics, and other consumables are outside this reusable instrument collection unless separately listed. Do not assume that they are included with a hand-instrument kit.

Use a Component Table Instead of a Generic Kit Description

Every kit should list the exact instrument or component, quantity, dimensions, interface, material where relevant, and cassette position. For tack systems, the tack size and count need clear labels. For collectors, record diameter, cutting or collection form, handle or driver, and any container or accessory.

Use the numbered kit image and component schedule together. Accessories pictured for context are not included unless they appear in the quoted schedule. Replacement availability is confirmed for each component.

Plan Replacement Tacks, Drivers, and Collector Components

Buyers need to know which parts are reusable instruments, which are replaceable components, and which require a separate order. Keep the original kit reference, interface, dimensions, and component number. A driver that looks similar may not fit a different tack or pin system.

For a custom set, provide the exact required components and quantities. Do not mix graft placement, membrane handling, fixation, and bone collection into an unsupported “complete” kit unless the approved bill of materials genuinely covers those functions.

Quote and Evidence Checklist

Send the collection or fixation task, kit and component references, diameters or tack dimensions, quantities, driver interface, replacements, cassette, packaging, destination, and evidence requirements. Attach an existing system reference when compatibility matters.

Available material, finish, manufacturing, packaging, certification, and export evidence can support the quotation. Product use and reprocessing follow the exact instructions and qualified surgical protocols.

For repeat supply, retain the collector or chip-maker dimensions, tack size, driver interface, component quantity, cassette position, and SKU. State whether replacement tacks, drivers, sleeves, collectors, or other parts are required separately. Consumable graft materials or membranes should remain outside the instrument schedule unless they are quoted as distinct stocked products.

A numbered kit photograph should match the written component schedule and quantities. If a fixation component has a size or interface, show it at that line rather than using the total piece count as the specification.
