What does the abutment preparation holder hold?
An implant abutment, outside the mouth, while it is shaped, prepared or adjusted in the laboratory. The abutment sits in a split-collet insert that closes around it as the end collar is tightened, and the tubular body is the part you hold like a handle.
Are the holder's collar threads an implant screw connection?
