About Adjustable Dental Scalpel Handle
An adjustable dental scalpel handle combines a round finger grip with a pivoting blade mount. We supply a single-mount adjustable handle, for buyers specifying a hand-operated surgical handle rather than a fixed flat handle or a double-blade holder.
Selecting the right configuration
Specify the required overall length, grip diameter and blade-mount pattern. Include the angle-locking arrangement in the purchase specification: a pivoting head, fixed detents and a continuously adjustable head are not identical designs. The blade mount adjusts in angle. Confirm the number of locking positions and adjustment range for the quoted model.
Measurements and evidence
For comparison, Medesy lists adjustable handles in 110 mm and 160 mm lengths, and PDT describes a seven-position handle. Those are separate manufacturers’ models, not verified dimensions or detents for the handle we quote. Ask for the dimensioned drawing and blade-fit confirmation for the quoted model.
Care and documentation
Before accepting a sample, check the pivot and lock for movement, the grip for damage and the blade mount against the specified blade interface. Obtain the supplied model’s instructions for blade fitting, adjustment, dismantling and reprocessing. Do not force the mechanism or treat a photograph as an assembly guide.
