About Crown Positioning Guide Kit
This crown positioning kit combines initial drills with physical guides, pins and stops for implant site planning. It contains two externally irrigated initial drills, four stops, and six crown guides with matching pins. The crown guides, sized 6 to 12 mm, give a physical reference to the space the future crown will occupy. This helps relate the initial drilling position to the planned restoration, alongside the clinician's own plan and the implant system's instructions. All instruments are AISI 420 stainless steel with a polished finish, reusable and autoclavable.
Kit contents by group
- Initial drills: 1.6 mm and 2.0 mm, one of each, for external irrigation
- Stops: 6, 8, 10 and 11.5 mm, four in total
- Crown guides: 6, 7, 8, 9, 10.5 and 12 mm, six in total
- Crown-guide pins: in the same six sizes as the guides
Three measurements, three meanings
The sizes in this kit describe different things, and several numbers repeat across groups. Drill sizes are cutting diameters. Stops carry their own size markings. Crown-guide sizes refer to crown space, and the pins are labeled to match their guides. The 6, 8 and 10 mm markings therefore appear on both a stop and a crown guide. The 12 mm marking belongs to the largest crown guide, while the largest drill in the kit is 2.0 mm. Keeping the groups distinct makes the kit faster to check after each reprocessing cycle.
Positioning guides or a digital surgical guide?
This kit contains physical crown guides, pins and stops for positioning and spacing at the initial drilling stage. A fully guided workflow is built around a patient-specific template with defined sleeves, offsets and implant-system compatibility, and it uses the components specified by that guided system. If you are choosing between the two approaches, this kit belongs to the first.
Preparing your enquiry
