About Hutchinson Periodontal Curette HU1/2
The HU1/2 periodontal instrument is the Hutchinson 1/2 curette pattern. Naming it only as a generic curette makes repeat purchasing difficult and hides the figure identity. This page now uses the recognized Hutchinson name while preserving the existing product URL and active SKUs.
Hutchinson HU1/2 Working Ends
HU1/2 is a double-ended curette configuration. Buyers should confirm blade width and length, toe and back profile, shank curvature, terminal-shank relationship and handle. The exact geometry controls adaptation and cannot be inferred from a generic “periodontal curette” label.
HU1/2 is available under two SKUs. They remain separate because the handle, finish or production reference may differ. Use the exact approved SKU for replacement orders.
Ordering for Hygiene or Periodontal Trays
State whether the HU1/2 is required as an individual instrument, a replacement within an existing set or part of a private-label tray. If the new instrument must match an established handle family, provide the handle profile, diameter, weight, finish and marking.
Do not substitute a Columbia, Gracey, Langer or another curette solely because its figure also contains 1/2. Each family uses its own blade and shank design.
