What is the difference between a mirror handle, a mirror head and a complete mirror?

The handle is the part you hold, and it supports the head through its attachment. The head carries the reflecting surface. A complete mirror combines both parts. Replacement-head and replacement-handle offers are separate components, so compare what each one supplies before you treat the order descriptions as equivalent.

What should be matched when choosing a replacement mirror handle?

Match the head stem to the documented handle attachment, or to an exact matching head reference. The handle shown uses a detachable threaded connection. Grip style and mirror size are separate from the connector, so neither one can select the replacement fitting.

Can Simple Stem and M2.5 describe the same mirror-handle connection?

Yes. A trade name and a thread designation can describe the same attachment. For example, one maker identifies its mirror handle as Simple Stem with M2.5 threads. Simple Stem names the head style, so it does not tell you whether a head pushes on or screws in, or which thread it uses. Use the specified connection for the actual model.
