Goldman-Fox Periodontal Scalers, Curettes and Knives

Goldman-Fox is an instrument family rather than one working end. This range includes scaler, curette, hoe and periodontal-knife figures, so buyers should confirm the instrument type and exact figure for every quotation line.

About Goldman-Fox Periodontal Scalers, Curettes and Knives

Goldman-Fox periodontal instruments cover more than one clinical function. We offer scaling and curette patterns in Figures 1–6 and 21, plus periodontal knives in Figures 7, 8, 9 and 11. These instruments share an eponym but must not be treated as interchangeable.

Goldman-Fox Figures 1–6 and 21

Recognized references describe Goldman-Fox 1 as a universal scaler, 2 as an anterior scaler or curette pattern, 3 as a posterior pattern and 4 as an anterior pattern with a different shank relationship. Figures 5 and 6 are hoe patterns for heavier deposits and specific surface access. Figure 21 combines a spoon or curette end with a small scaler.

Because naming varies between historical and supplier references, the approved working-end drawing remains the purchasing authority. State both the figure and the required function on the RFQ.

Goldman-Fox Periodontal Knives 7, 8, 9 and 11

Figures 7, 8, 9 and 11 are periodontal knife patterns. They belong in the same named family but have cutting ends intended for soft-tissue procedures, not scaling. Confirm blade profile, orientation, bevel and whether the order is for an individual figure or a planned set.

Figure Labels and Repeat Orders

Some visible figures are available under two SKUs. They remain separate because the difference may exist in handle, finish or production reference. Use the exact approved SKU, drawing and handle for reorders.

Material, Inspection and Supply

Instruments are offered in reusable stainless steel with the grade, hardness, edge preparation, finish and passivation confirmed per configuration. Inspection criteria should match the product type: edge and bevel for knives, blade and toe for curettes, and tip or working face for scalers and hoes. We manufacture under ISO 9001:2015 quality management certification.
