About Membrane Placement Set
Our Membrane Placement Set supplies 25 short bone-tack pins, listed at 3.5 mm long, together with a ring-grip placement instrument and a storage and sterilisation box. The tacks sit in a round holder engraved with their count and length, so the tack size is identified on the holder itself rather than on a separate insert.

The 25 tacks are the fixation pins. The applicator and box are separate items in the same set and are not counted among the 25. Choose your barrier membrane and graft material separately.
Tack fixation, with a matched applicator
In guided bone regeneration, tacks hold a barrier membrane against the bone while the site heals. This set is built around that approach: short pins paired with a dedicated ring-grip instrument that carries a tack to the membrane. The holder keeps the tacks counted and identified until they are picked up.
Techniques that fix the membrane with threaded bone screws use a screw-and-driver system, which is a different set.
