About Prichard PR3 Periosteal Elevator
Prichard PR3 is a recognized periosteal-elevator pattern used in periodontal and oral-surgery instrument ranges. The complete name should appear on the quotation because “PR3” alone does not tell a buyer whether the requested item is a periosteal elevator, curette or another numbered hand instrument.
PR3 Working-End Specification
Confirm blade width and length, working-end curvature, edge form, shank relationship, overall length and handle. Published product references show PR3 as a Prichard periosteal, but exact dimensions can vary by manufacturer configuration and must be taken from the selected drawing.
For a replacement, send photographs of the working end from both sides beside a scale, the handle marking and the existing product code. An approved drawing or retained sample provides the strongest production reference.
Ordering for Surgical Trays
State whether the order is for an individual PR3, a replacement in an existing cassette or part of a private-label surgery set. Keep Prichard separate from Molt, Freer, Hopkins, Mead and Seldin patterns in the bill of materials, even if the handles are standardized across the set.
Material, Finish and Inspection
The reusable elevator is available in stainless steel. Material grade, hardness, working-end dimensions, edge preparation, finish, passivation, markings and packaging are confirmed with the accepted specification. We manufacture under ISO 9001:2015 quality management certification.
Inspect the working end and shank for bends, chips, pitting or deformation. Protect the blade during cleaning and follow the facility's validated reprocessing and sterilization procedure.
