About Wakefield Bone Chisels – 1W and 2W
The product references 1W and 2W identify Wakefield bone chisels. The earlier “WaPSf Old” wording was a transcription error and is not a recognized buyer term. Correcting the visible name lets clinics and distributors match the product to established Wakefield figure references while the existing URL remains unchanged.
Wakefield 1W and 2W Patterns
Wakefield 1W is documented as a bi-bevel bone chisel; 2W is the companion figure in the range. Buyers should confirm blade width, blade length, bevel arrangement, shank angle, overall length and handle for each figure. Similar straight chisels should not be substituted by appearance alone.
The two figures should remain separate on quotations, packaging schedules and replacement records. If supplied together, identify the pack as a two-pattern configuration rather than a generic chisel set.
Selection and Replacement Matching
For a replacement, provide the Wakefield figure, exact SKU and photographs of the blade face, bevel and handle marking beside a measurement scale. An approved drawing or retained sample is the strongest production reference.
If the buyer uses an internal code that still contains the old transcription, map it to Wakefield 1W or 2W in the new purchasing record so the error is not repeated in future labels or listings.
Material, Edge and Quality Evidence
The reusable chisels are offered in stainless steel. Material grade, hardness, blade dimensions, bi-bevel preparation, finish, passivation, marking and packaging are confirmed by selected SKU. We manufacture under ISO 9001:2015 quality management certification.
Inspect the blade and bevel for chips, rolling or deformation. Protect the edge in a cassette and follow the facility's validated cleaning, sharpening and sterilization procedure.
