About Amalgam Instruments
We supply amalgam instruments to cover the full restorative sequence for an amalgam filling: carrying material to the preparation, condensing it into place, carving anatomical form before it sets, and burnishing the margins afterward.
One Instrument per Step
Each instrument type we manufacture serves one step. Carriers dispense a measured increment of set-triturated amalgam. Condensers pack the material into the cavity walls and line angles to eliminate voids. Carvers shape occlusal anatomy and proximal contours before the material hardens. Burnishers smooth and adapt margins once carving is complete, improving marginal seal.
Material and Ordering
We manufacture in surgical-grade stainless steel, satin or mirror-polished finish depending on the pattern, autoclave sterilizable. Many patterns are available for manufacturer-direct and bulk supply; minimum order quantity and private-label branding are confirmed with your quotation. Check carving and condensing surfaces for amalgam residue trapped in fine surface detail, since dried residue there affects the next carve or condense. Follow your facility's own validated reprocessing protocol; our dental instrument cleaning and ultrasonic processing guide covers the general workflow reference.
