About Heidemann Separating Spatulas
We build the Heidemann separating spatula with a thin, flexible blade used for fine mixing and for separating and placing restorative material in confined spaces a stiffer spatula cannot enter cleanly.
A Flexible Blade for Fine Work
The thin, flexible blade adapts and flexes during use, distinct from a cement spatula's flat, stiff blade built for bulk mixing. We commonly pair Heidemann spatulas with a cement spatula on the same restorative tray — the cement spatula mixes, the Heidemann spatula separates and places.
Choosing a Figure
Blade width and flexibility vary across our Fig. 1-9 range. Confirm the exact figure and SKU for a repeat order, since Figs. 1, 2, and 3 are each supplied under two SKUs in our current range.
Material and Ordering
We manufacture in surgical-grade stainless steel with satin or mirror polish available on request. Available for manufacturer-direct and bulk supply; minimum order quantity is confirmed with your quotation.
Care
Inspect the thin blade edge for bending after use — a flexible blade that has lost its true edge no longer separates material cleanly. Follow your facility's own validated reprocessing protocol; our dental instrument cleaning and ultrasonic processing guide covers the general workflow reference.
Requesting a Quote
Tell us the figure, quantity, finish, and destination market. We manufacture under ISO 9001:2015 quality management certification, with material evidence confirmed against the order you place.
