About Twist Stopper Drill Kit

Our Twist Stopper Drill Kit holds 30 conical twist drills in an organized metal case, with each drill in its own labelled position by diameter and length. A separate accessory group sits at the right of the case, away from the drills. The count of 30 refers to the drills alone. The case is marked External Conical Smart Kit.

Six diameters across, five lengths down

The drills are arranged in six columns and five rows. Each column carries one printed diameter label, and each row carries one printed length label. Every combination in the grid is filled:

  • Diameter labels: 2.2, 2.7, 3.3, 3.7, 4.0 and 4.5 mm
  • Length labels: 13, 11.5, 10, 8 and 6 mm

Because the grid is complete, every diameter has all five lengths beside it, down to the 6 mm position in the 4.5 mm column. The layout also makes the case quick to audit. An empty slot shows which labelled position needs attention when the kit is checked after use.

Diameter, stop, working length and shaft

Four separate dimensions matter when you match a stopper drill to your implant system:

  • The diameter label is the drill's nominal size identifier; confirm how it relates to the conical cutting profile.
  • The stop is the physical feature that limits how far the drill advances.
  • Effective working length runs from the drill tip to that stop.
  • Overall shaft length runs from the tip to the end that engages the handpiece.

The printed length labels show which row each drill belongs to. Before clinical use, check the effective working length of the drills you receive against your own system's drilling protocol rather than reading depth from the label. Keeping the four measurements apart also helps when you reorder: a position's diameter and length labels help describe the required drill without confusing length with diameter.

Accessories kept apart from the drill grid

The accessories have their own section, so all 30 drill positions hold drills only and the grid reads cleanly by column and row. If your tray set-up needs a drills-only case, our Integral Stopper Drill Kit carries the same diameter and length label families without the accessory section. We can quote either kit.

To price this kit, send us SKU DIS-DEN-0348, the number of kits you need and the connection your handpiece uses, and we will quote against those details. You can compare related ranges in dental implant instruments or go straight to request a quote.
