About Dental Sickle Scalers – H6/H7, H5 and U15 Patterns
This page groups several dental sickle scaler patterns for quotation, including H6/H7, H5, H5/33, U15, U15/33 and other documented figures. They share a pointed scaling concept, but their working ends and shank relationships are not interchangeable. Buyers should specify every pattern as a separate line item.
H6/H7 Sickle Scaler
H6/H7 is commonly selected as a double-ended anterior sickle scaler. Its pointed tip, triangular cross-section and working-end orientation support supragingival calculus removal where an anterior pattern is appropriate. Confirm the exact blade length, shank angle and handle before approving a replacement.
H5, H5/33 and U15 Combinations
H5 and H5/33 combine different access characteristics from H6/H7. U15 and U15/33 are Towner or Towner-Jaquette references with their own blade and shank geometry. Figures 15/30, U15/30, 1/2 and the numbered 31–35 group must also remain visible as separate purchasing references.
Some visible figure names are offered under different SKUs. Those SKUs may represent differences in handle, production reference or finish that are not shown in the short label. A repeat order should use the approved SKU, not the figure text alone.
Building a Scaler Assortment
For a clinic tray, distributor range or private-label set, list each pattern, quantity and handle separately. Confirm working-end drawings for every SKU. If a set is required, approve a bill of materials rather than requesting a generic “sickle scaler set.”
Material, Finish and Quality Evidence
The reusable instruments are available in stainless steel. Material grade, hardness, cutting-edge preparation, satin or mirror finish, passivation, marking and packaging are controlled through the accepted specification. We manufacture under ISO 9001:2015 quality management certification.
Inspect the tip, lateral surfaces and shank before use. Sharpen only to the original scaler geometry and follow the facility's validated cleaning and sterilization workflow.
